Class Assessment

 Reaction to ride: Watching the ride was a really fun and surprising experience, I really enjoyed how the ride started off very similarly to the previous Pirates of the Caribbean rides, but it suddenly takes a turn to something new and action-filled that wasn't there in the older rides. I especially was surprised by how good the animatronics were (especially the skeleton that just turns into Jack Sparrow!! HOW???), they were really fun to watch! One thing I enjoyed about it was that you could follow the story without having to understand the dialogue, and even as someone watching a video of the ride, it was very immersive! Discuss the Elements of the Work: The set-pieces used in the ride (the ships, treasure, animatronics) utilized alongside screens was very interesting and it worked very well, especially with the ride's use of framing the screens. Parts of ships and other large objects obscured parts of the screens and led the viewer's eye to exactly where they needed
